Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
The Southern Star DEI Council leads initiatives that celebrate diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences—enhancing the cultural fabric of the company. The Council not only empowers team members but also strengthens the company’s ability to serve diverse communities with integrity, empathy, and forward-thinking leadership.
Our ERGs are voluntary, team member-led groups bringing together individuals with shared experiences, interests, or identities to foster connection, personal and professional growth, and a strong sense of community. Through collaboration, relationship-building, and shared learning, our ERGs amplify diverse voices and help shape a workplace where team members feel valued and supported.

MERGE empowers team members to celebrate their unique identities and cultural backgrounds while cultivating a culture of belonging. MERGE builds stronger, more inclusive teams by encouraging dialogue, sharing diverse perspectives and promoting allyship. Activities include experiences that highlight global traditions, cuisine, music, art, and much more while encouraging appreciation and understanding across our organization.

Our Veterans ERG creates a supportive community for Southern Star team members and veterans to honor military history and culture while providing a space to connect, share and mentor one another. It also plays a key role in welcoming and supporting those transitioning from military service to our Southern Star team.

WING is dedicated to supporting the growth, leadership and advancement of women in the natural gas industry. Through mentorship, development opportunities, and open dialogue, WING creates pathways for professional and personal success.
